Eluxier is the manifestation of the common vision of two passionate pharmaceutical nerds, who share their curiosity for skincare and overall wellness.
Based on their research and serendipities, eluxier was born in 2021 to explore the intersection between toxin-free, clean-label and multifunctional skincare.

What changed everything for us.

August 2021, we were browsing through all the available products in the market and realized that most of the products that made clean label claims, like "No-Parabens" "No- Sulphate" etc. had some other harmful ingredient hiding in their labels. Some even had harmful chemicals named differently to disguise them as something harmless.
That triggered our curiosity to find out what all harmful chemicals are actually hiding in our everyday products.
Next two years went into rigorous research through product labels, peer-reviewed journals, MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets), and the detailed manufacturing processes of the ingredients.
What resulted, was a shocking list of almost 500 harmful chemicals, out of which 280 are still being used regularly even in everyday products from almost all well-known brands. We categorized them in 30 buckets and call them "TheDIRTY30".

The choice that defined our purpose.
We chose not to use any of these "DIRTY30" in our products.
Well, it was indeed difficult to make skin-pleasing stable products without some of them, but we love challenges, especially when it builds on our promise and strengthens our resolve.
We have pursued our research since and aspire to be in a place where customers trust us with- "if it is on Eluxier Label, it must be safe". Maybe, someday the "DIRTY30" becomes "DIRTY40", but it will still be a promise of slow and sustainable care with synergic and clean-label ingredients.
